About us

We are the call before the decision.

Not a lender. Not a law firm. Not a debt settlement company. We are the step in front of all of that — the free conversation where somebody finally lays out every option, including the ones that make us nothing.

How we are paid

The part most sites bury.

You are never charged. Not for the call, not for the eligibility check, not for anything. We are paid a referral fee by the debt relief provider you are matched with, and only when we make that introduction.

We are telling you this on the second screen of the site rather than in the footer because it is the first thing a reasonable person would want to know. It also means you should hear more than one voice before you enroll anywhere, and any provider worth their license will tell you the same thing.

What we hold ourselves to

Four rules we do not bend.

No pressure, ever

Nobody on the other end of the line is working a script designed to close you. If you want to think about it for a month, that is the right answer for you and we will say so.

Licensed providers only

Every provider in the network is licensed in the state where you live and accredited through recognized industry bodies. If a provider slips below that bar, they come out.

Plain numbers

What a program costs, how long it runs, and what it does to your credit gets said out loud on the first call — before anything is signed.

Your data stays yours

Your details go only to the licensed providers matched to your situation. You can ask us to delete them, or to stop sharing them, on any day for any reason.

Why we exist

People do not put off the call because they are confused about debt. They put it off because every ad they have seen sounded like a trap. Our whole job is being the one that isn't.

Plain language

What we are not.

Worth being blunt about, because the debt relief space has earned its reputation for vagueness.

  • We are not a lender and we do not issue loans of any kind.
  • We are not a law firm and nothing here is legal advice.
  • We are not a credit repair organization.
  • We do not negotiate with your creditors ourselves.
  • We do not promise any particular reduction, outcome, or timeline.
